Summary of role:
Reporting to Your Doctor Film & Media’s Head of Front Desk the Group Receptionist (‘GR’) will provide the highest level of care and world-class service to our patients.
Key responsibilities:
- Meeting and greeting patients and visitors, providing a great first impression
- Maintaining privacy of patients, always assuring patient confidentiality and compliance with relevant data protection legislation
- Taking payments (prior to and post consultation)
- Managing referral letters - in and out
- Processing prescriptions, faxing and emailing across to pharmacies
- Dealing with web contact forms with appt/service enquires
- Dealing with membership enquires via phone, email and following on from Dr Consults
- Collecting patient information and adding registration forms to system
- Coordinating swab management and drivers
- Managing stock control
Experience and skills:
- Self-motivated: Able to work well under pressure, unsupervised and using your own initiative
- Excellent organisation and communications skills
- First-class customer service skills
- Empathetic and caring approach
- Able to follow instructions and procedures
- Have a growth mindsight: we’re growing fast, and you’ll be expected to offer ideas where processes can be improved and drive your own personal development
- Excellent verbal and written skills: you should be able to draft clear, concise communications, adapting tone & style as appropriate
- Be Flexible: Our working environment changes based on our client needs; you’ll need to be adaptable and open to accommodating our client and teams needs as required
