Stock & Procurement Coordinator

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller

Stock management

  • Manage all physical inventory across HQ site, offsite storage, and client locations where appropriate. Ensure safe, secure and appropriate storage of goods and controlled movements.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained as required to maintain business operations.
  • Manage stock and inventory management systems in line with quality, financial and operational requirements.
  • Manage stock counting, reconciliation and discrepancy investigation process
  • Ensure adequate Inspection and Receipting processes in place. Train and inform where necessary.
  • Report on inventory and stock KPIs and metrics to senior management as required.

 

Procurement

  • Co-ordinate Supplier purchase Orders and manage the purchase process ensuring adequate control over purchasing and procurement of new items/goods,
  • Co-ordinate with key stakeholders to plan stock levels and ensure smooth delivery and supply of stock.
  • Maintaining communication with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and manage general queries.
  • Report on vendor adherence to KPIs and quality levels to senior management as required.

Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Group Financial Controller or the Laboratory Managing Director – Viva Health Laboratories.

  • Key Skills and Experience:
  • Stock management and purchasing experience, minimum 3 years
  • Flexible and adaptable but robust when necessary, able to work constructively with internal customers whilst comfortable challenging if necessary.
  • Keen eye for detail ensuring a high level of granularity is maintained in stock management and forecasting.
  • Highly proficient In inventory management systems and excel.
  • Super organised: used to juggling multiple projects with different priorities and working to short deadlines
  • Tech savvy: confident using MS Office

  • Excellent verbal and written skills: you should be able to draft clear, concise communications, adapting tone & style as appropriate
