HR & Payroll Assistant

Summary of role: Responsible for the process of new hires paperwork, pre-employment checks and onboarding, maintain employee records, processing payroll and providing support to the HR Manager. 

Experience and Skills:

  • MUST have at least 2 years of experience as working in a similar role working in a small, fast paced, busy HR department;
  • Handling confidential information/data under GDPR guidelines;
  • Good knowledge/experience of payroll administration;
  • Some recruitment experience;
  • Note taking at meetings;
  • Ability to work to deadlines and exhibit excellent organisation skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • IT literate with Microsoft Packages;
  • Meticulous and accurate with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work flexibly as required in a fast paced environment;
  • Desirable: Level 3 CIPD or studying towards a CIPD qualification.
